Sri Lankan Pewter is made from a European-style pewter alloy that closely resembles Britannia metal, containing 93% Tin with Antimony and Copper as the only other ingredients. Our products are Lead-free and food-safe.
Over ti,me most metals will oxidize. Silver and Brass will develop a patina with age that is often deliberately left untouched on antique objects. We have deliberately oxidized our objects before polishing them so as to provide contrast and enhance the details, also to give them a faux “antique” look.
